Swimming safely and saving lives in Charlottesville, VA.

At SWIM S'COOL we not only believe that swimming is a basic safety skill for all ages, but also the only sport that can save your life. We are determined to teach more and more kids each day how to be safe around and confident in the water. Our instructors are committed to providing a fun learning environment where students in small classes get individualized attention. Put simply, we are passionate about making an impact on your child's life by teaching them to swim, and possibly saving their life.

SWIM S'COOL was born when founder Megan Evo Greenwood was teaching swim lessons at a local swim club during her summers in Charlottesville training with the University of Virginia swim team. She noticed that there was an increasing demand for quality swim instruction and by the end of her first summer she had swim lessons scheduled back to back to back for weeks on end. The following summer her schedule was so booked up with lessons that she had to find a teammate to help her cover the demand. She finally decided to create her own curriculum using what she knew from studying education and years of teaching swimming to children. It quickly became a dream to share what she knew and loved about teaching swimming with others. In the summer of 2012 SWIM S'COOL had its debut and has been growing exponentially since!
